Definitely the best KBBQ spot in the area! I drive from almost an hour away to come here, and it never disappoints! Wait times can be on the longer side during peak hours, but you can sit as long as you'd like and you never feel rushed which is great for an all you can eat! The meats are all really high quality, which reflects in the taste. I love that this spot offers dumplings and popcorn chicken, which I've never seen at other kbbq spots. Overall, a very modern casual spot, great for a big meal!
It's official. I made him a lover of Korean BBQ! Sooo many other places we could've gone for AYCE Korean BBQ but I wanted HIS first time, not mine , to set the bar. After much research on Google, Instagram, Yelp, various articles, etc., Butcher 360 comes out to be the leader of the pack in NJ. And after our lunch here, I agree. First off, the place is industrial chic (black, red, and wood...so sexy!), SUPER clean, and ultra modern. NOT ONE spec of dust. As a matter of fact, two guys were cleaning the tall vents on the other side of the restaurant so you KNOW they are diligent about cleanliness. Second, the service was superb! They were ON IT!!! I LOVE when I don't have to ask for anything and they ask me. While dining AND in relationships. They were attentive, friendly, AND K-Pop gorgeous. Third, the food! We came at lunch time and could've gotten the dinner menu if we wanted but there was already so much on the lunch menu. That lunch menu...no words! Speechless! Ok, ok... one word: DELICIOUSSSS!! One Yelper said it lacked flavor but I disagree. The brisket came unseasoned but that's what all the sauce and salt was for. In any case, there wasn't anything I didn't like. I've been to other Korean BBQ but this one takes the cake. I LOVED the whole experience. And HE loved it so much, he must've said it three times the first 30 minutes! It came out to roughly $40/pp, tax & NICE tip incl, for lunch but so worth it!! I wanna go back to Butcher 360...yesterday!!!
I personally love korean bbq. This place is not bad and worth a try. Although I wish I can give a 5 stars, I feel like the missing star has to do with the lack of flavoring in their meat. I wish they would have the korean galbi too. So the meat quality wasn't bad but I feel like lack the flavors. I'm not sure if it's because the meat weren't marinated enough or the type of meat itself. Thank goodness they have the sauce for me to dip so I can keep eating those meat. But I gotta comment on the squid. I normally don't eat squid at a korean bbq but my friend suggested to try. Man! They are GOOD! Soft! Tasty! Delicious! Their service was superb! They do all the cooking service! Btw, it is all you can eat but the ice cream and I believe special drinks in their fridge are for additional price, which is not included in the AYCE price.
Do yourself a favor and come here. All of the bbq is delicious. The best part is they cook it for you! I also love the vibe here because it's basically a modern BBQ vibe. Any appetizers you choose, you'll get as many as you want. Just make sure you finish what you order because you can be subject to charges for not doing so. Come check this place out :)
All you can eat! One of the best Korean BBQ Restaurants out there. A little pricey, but well worth it. I've been here three times already, and I was never disappointed. The staff is always accommodating. Yes, there can be a wait, especially on weekends. However, they aren't that long. Also, they do have a small bar where you can order drinks while you wait. Very casual. No hipsters or anything. Just good food!
Nice atmosphere in this place. First time I been here and will be my first Koren BBQ tasting. I can see how quickly this place can get crowded. There were no reservations made on a Sat afternoon, and we waited about 5 mins before being seated. But I can see the wait being 60+ minutes easily. The food was fresh and cooked right in front of you. The staff really work together. They definitely showed good teamwork today. The sides were really good. Seasoned Chicken 양념치킨 Korean style seasoned chicken. Was really tasty. Tteokbokki 떡볶이 Soft rice cake and sweet red chili sauce. The rice cake I didn't care for, but that sweet chili sauce was too die for. Dumpling 만두 Fried beef & vegetable dumpling. A must-have side. Japchae 재채 Glass noodles with soy sauce. The texture of this module I didn't care for. However, it had a good taste. The popcorn chicken was overcooked and hard. The meats we shared were all good. Everyone was able to enjoy it from cooked medium rare to well. So that was cool. The Butcher Boneless Prime Galbi had good flavor right off the grill. Pork Belly: was a thick, thick slab. Spicy Chicken: was the best to me. Juicy, flavor, and tender. I can't say anything other then I look forests to my next Korean BBQ again.
If you weren't eating during the holidays, what were you doing?? Me and my crew tried this newer KBBQ spot in North Brunswick the Friday after Christmas. At 6pm. Oh lawd was there a wait!! Our party of 6 waited 85 minutes - and 2 of us waited half as long to even find a parking space. But it was 100% worth it and I'm glad we stuck it out. Read on for details: -there's an electronic waitlist. You get texted a link to see where you are in line and it refreshes in real time. You can also see how long it takes the parties ahead of you to get seated. This made the wait time more psychologically manageable. -there's a bar. Oddly enough, no one was really staffing it. Once we got someone's attention though after like 15 minutes (not kidding) the drinks made the wait more doable. We did see that later on in the evening they said no to walk ups at the bar. This is a HUGE mistake. If you have people waiting, fill them up on drinks - they'll eat less meat and spend more money. When I'm an internationally known restaurateur remember these tips. -plenty of places to sit while you wait. My mom needs knee replacements and until that day it's hard for her to stand. She was comfortably seated the entire wait. Onto the food: -You choose 3 meats, and an assortment of sides. Everything is AYCE and 3 meats is perfect for the amount of space on the grill. They cut and cook the meat for you at the table. What's great is that you can specify the portion size you want. So when we were getting full (LMAOLOLROTFL) we asked for a little more of such and such and a little less of this and that. -they have a Coke Freestyle machine. Dunno what I was more excited about - endless meats or endless Strawberry Fanta. -2 hour time limit. When we sat down at 730 we said who the devil needs 2 hours. At 930 when we Violet Beauregarded outta there we realized WE needed 2 hours. -fav items: Butcher 360, pork bulgogi, spicy sausage, steamed egg, garlic galbi Great seating, beautiful space, lively atmosphere. Can't wait to go back!
Our nth time visiting and it still hasn't disappointed us- they still offer high quality meats unlike other Korean BBQ places and I think this is their main draw. So hopefully, if management is seeing this, this will be bookmarked that this is what makes their customers keep coming back and pay $5-10 more than the other restos. Service is fast friendly and efficient. We were sat within 5 mins of arrival without any reservations. This was a Thursday night at 730pm and the place was still pretty full. Banchan of course is also all you can eat, drinks are priced accordingly and they have the soda dispenser where you can mix your own concoctions. Feel free to ask your server if you'd like to taste something so they don't give you the whole serving aka the beef intestines. I wanted to just try it and he just brought out 2 pieces. When we asked for more galbi but only 3 pieces since we were almost full, he obliged. Private parking lot, restrooms are clean and casual vibe. Come hungry!
